Deputies from the Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) responded to the scene around 9:50 p.m. While Valencia had been transported to a hospital in a private vehicle, he sadly succumbed to his injuries.

Authorities confirmed that a suspect has been identified in connection with the incident, though no arrests have been made. The investigation remains ongoing as deputies work to gather evidence and piece together the circumstances surrounding this heartbreaking event.
