WICHITA, Kan. — The Cheney community is mourning the tragic loss of 32-year-old Taylor R. Goldsmith following a rollover crash in south-central Kansas on Saturday morning. The accident occurred just before 7:30 a.m. near Southeast 20th Street and 150th Avenue, west of Cheney.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Goldsmith was driving a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro eastbound when the vehicle first left the roadway to the right, then re-entered before veering off the left side. The car rolled multiple times and came to rest on its driver’s side. Emergency responders pronounced him deceased at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the circumstances that led to the accident. No other vehicles or persons were involved, and there were no reported injuries to others.
Goldsmith’s passing has left family, friends, and the Cheney community deeply shaken.
