The Milton community is grieving the tragic loss of 31-year-old Tervon Jackson, a lifelong resident whose life was taken far too soon on November 24, 2025, in a shooting near Lucille Johnson Park on Mary Street. Jackson was discovered by Milton Police with multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Tervon Jackson was known among family, friends, and neighbors as a kind, compassionate, and hardworking individual whose warmth and generosity touched the lives of all who knew him. His sudden passing leaves a deep void in the Milton community, as loved ones mourn a life filled with promise, friendship, and care for others.
Authorities quickly responded to the incident, locating and detaining suspects with the help of local witnesses, surveillance footage, and a K-9 unit. 21-year-old Jayden Jamarco Wright has been arrested and charged with murder – dangerous depraved / homicide and is currently held without bond as the investigation continues.
While law enforcement continues to gather evidence and conduct forensic analysis, the community is left to reflect on the profound loss of Tervon Jackson.
