Bristol, TN — Authorities have charged 18-year-old Elijah Khalil Campbell with multiple crimes, including two counts of first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder following a tragic double homicide over the past weekend.
Campbell is currently being held at the Southwest Virginia Regional Jail Authority awaiting extradition back to Tennessee. At this time, no date has been set for his initial court appearance.
The two victims who lost their lives in this incident have been identified as Deonte Wright, 20, and Lexy Coleman, 21. A third victim, Kevin Collin, 22, sustained injuries during the incident and remains hospitalized.
