On November 23, 2025, around 12:30 p.m., Neil had been traveling westbound on Sherwood Road East when his vehicle unexpectedly left the roadway, entered a ditch, overturned onto the driver’s side, and struck a tree. Emergency responders arrived quickly, but despite their efforts, Neil was pronounced deceased at the scene. Authorities confirmed that he had not been wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
