ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Rochester community is grieving the sudden and tragic loss of 35-year-old Paulie Pocket, who died in a two-car crash on Thanksgiving morning along Route 104 Eastbound. According to New York State Police, the collision occurred just before 8:20 a.m. between Lake Avenue and St. Paul Street when Paulie was traveling the wrong way and collided with another vehicle.

Authorities reported that Paulie was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. She was rushed to Strong Memorial Hospital, where medical teams worked to save her, but tragically, she was pronounced dead. The driver of the other car was also hospitalized but sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Emergency responders described the scene as severe, with one car ending up on its side in the underpass below St. Paul Street.
