GRAND TRAVERSE COUNTY, Mich. — The Traverse City community is mourning the tragic loss of Rebecca Park, who was found deceased on November 25, 2025, after being missing for 21 days. Her father confirmed the heartbreaking news to 9&10 News, stating that he discovered her body while out searching for her.
Rebecca, 39 weeks pregnant at the time she went missing on November 4, was last seen around 11:30 p.m. entering the passenger side of a dark-colored vehicle outside a relative’s home on South 21½ Road. Her mother, Courtney Bartholomew, was the last person to see her alive. A $12,000 reward had been offered for any information leading to her whereabouts.
Throughout the search, sheriff’s deputies and the Michigan State Police conducted extensive investigations in the area where she was last seen. Community volunteers also assisted, although the sheriff’s office noted that certain independent groups were not operating under law enforcement authority. Despite multiple searches, no additional evidence had been located prior to the discovery of her body.
At this time, there is no known direct evidence that Rebecca was the victim of an assault, and deputies clarified that no bloody clothing was recovered, contrary to social media claims. The status of her pregnancy has not been released.
No arrests have been made in connection with the case. The sheriff’s office has stated it will provide updates as additional information becomes available.
