Mariama was pronounced deceased at the scene shortly after 10 p.m., leaving her family, friends, and all who knew her in profound grief.

First responders arrived to find her vehicle, a blue 2007 Toyota Avalon, overturned with Mariama trapped inside. Despite their swift efforts to rescue her and provide emergency care, her injuries were too severe. According to the preliminary investigation, Mariama had been driving westbound on Cherry Hill Road when she was unable to navigate a curve, causing the vehicle to leave the roadway, strike a tree, and overturn.

She is remembered as a bright, caring, and warm-hearted young woman whose presence brought comfort and joy to those around her. Her family and loved ones describe her as compassionate, hardworking, and full of dreams—someone who carried strength and kindness in equal measure.
