The community mourns the sudden and tragic loss of 55-year-old Juan Felix Garcia Gil of La Porte, Texas, who passed away early Tuesday morning following a single-vehicle crash in Plano, Texas.
According to the Collin County Medical Examiner’s Office, the cause of death was determined to be medical-related. On November 25, 2025, at approximately 12:45 a.m., Mr. Garcia Gil was driving a red Kenworth tractor with a flatbed trailer on East Plano Parkway near K Avenue when the vehicle drove over the curb, entered a landscaped shoulder, struck a sign, and came to rest. Emergency responders arrived quickly and transported him to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. Authorities confirmed there were no indications that speed or alcohol contributed to the incident.
