NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — A heartbreaking tragedy unfolded early Sunday morning as North Little Rock police began investigating a shooting that claimed the life of a 19-year-old woman.
Officers were called to the 1900 block of Parker Street around 2:14 a.m. after receiving reports that someone may have been shot. When they arrived, they found Jaybrianna Turner, 19, suffering from at least one gunshot wound. She was rushed to a nearby hospital, but despite the efforts of first responders and medical staff, Jaybrianna later died from her injuries.
