In Loving Memory of Frederick Kiprono

The community is deeply saddened by the tragic loss of 43-year-old Frederick Kiprono, a kind-hearted and hardworking man originally from Moiben, Kenya. Frederick’s life was taken far too soon on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, when he was fatally shot while driving an Uber along Clyde Fant Memorial Parkway in Shreveport. He was pronounced deceased at the scene, leaving family, friends, and all who knew him in profound grief.

Frederick was a man who carried the warmth of his Kenyan roots everywhere he went. Raised in Moiben, he learned the values of humility, hard work, and generosity early in life—values he continued to share with everyone he met. His gentle personality, respectful nature, and genuine sincerity made him someone people naturally trusted and appreciated.

He worked tirelessly to support himself and his loved ones, embracing every opportunity with determination and grace. Whether offering a friendly conversation to a passenger, lending a hand to someone in need, or staying connected to his family back home, Frederick lived with purpose and heart.

Friends remember him as soft-spoken yet strong, humble yet impactful. He had a gift for easing tension with a simple smile and making others feel seen and respected. His presence brought comfort, and his absence leaves a silence that feels impossible to fill.

Frederick’s passing has created a ripple of sorrow both in Shreveport and across the world to Moiben, where family members mourn the loss of a beloved son and friend. Though distance separates those who grieve him, their love for Frederick unites them in honoring the life he lived.

His kindness, his resilience, and the goodness he carried will forever remain in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known him.

Rest in peace, Frederick Kiprono.

You are deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished—from Moiben to Shreveport and every life you touched.
