CRAIGHEAD COUNTY, Ark. — The Craighead County community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of 51-year-old David B. Craig, who tragically passed away on Nov. 18, 2025, following a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of U.S. 49 and County Road 928. David was traveling northbound in his 2019 Ford Transit when a southbound Ford F-250, driven by 27-year-old John A. Cannon of Greene County, turned into his path, resulting in a fatal collision.

David was known for his kindness, warmth, and generosity. Friends and family remember him as someone who brightened every room he entered, offered a helping hand without hesitation, and shared a smile that lifted spirits. He was a devoted family member and a friend to many, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew him.

The suddenness of his passing has left a deep void in the lives of those who loved him. The community has come together to grieve, honor his memory, and celebrate the life of a man whose presence brought comfort, joy, and inspiration.
