In Loving Memory of William and Jenna Hayes

PASADENA, Maryland — A deep sense of shock and grief has settled over the Pasadena community after a beloved couple, 56-year-old William Hayes and 54-year-old Jenna Hayes, were found fatally shot inside their home on Sunday. Known affectionately online as Charlie N Jeanna Hayes, the couple owned and operated CW Hayes Home Improvement and were widely respected for their kindness, hard work, and dedication to helping others.

Pasadena police were called to the 1700 block of Twickenham Road around 1:55 p.m. for a reported shooting. When officers arrived, they discovered William and Jenna suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite immediate efforts from responding personnel, both were pronounced dead at the scene. Their tragic deaths have left loved ones and neighbors devastated.

Later that afternoon, police arrested 61-year-old Anthony Louis Reyes of Nottingham, Maryland, in connection with the double homicide. Investigators say Reyes was known to the couple. Officers identified his black Toyota Camry with out-of-state license plates near the 1600 block of Bluestone Street and attempted to stop the vehicle. Reyes fled, leading to a police pursuit that ended near 97 South and Quarterfield Road. After a struggle, officers were able to take him into custody. He now faces first-degree murder charges.

As investigators continue their work, the community is left mourning two lives taken far too soon. William and Jenna’s legacy of kindness, craftsmanship, and love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew them.

May they rest in eternal peace.
