The Durham community is in deep mourning following the tragic loss of Aljon Salvador Aguelo, 34, and Maricel Nano Aquino, 35, who were killed Monday morning in a fatal crash at Somers Road and Hunting Creek Road in Wilkes County, N.C. Aljon and Maricel were loving and devoted parents to their two young children, who survived the crash with non-life-threatening injuries.
