PONCHATOULA, La. — The community of Ponchatoula is grieving the sudden and tragic loss of Caleb Milton, 28, who passed away following a three-vehicle crash on LA Highway 22 on Saturday afternoon.


According to the Louisiana State Police, Milton was traveling eastbound on his 2015 Harley-Davidson motorcycle when a 2020 Jeep Wrangler, followed by a 2015 Nissan Murano traveling westbound, attempted a left turn into a private driveway directly in front of him. Milton’s motorcycle struck the Jeep and collided head-on with the Nissan, causing critical injuries. He was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the Nissan sustained minor injuries, and the Jeep driver was unharmed.
Friends, family, and neighbors remember Caleb as a kind, spirited, and passionate young man whose energy and warmth touched everyone he met. His love for motorcycling and his bright presence in the community made him well-loved and respected.
