It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden and tragic passing of Haley Nona-Lynn Keffer on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at only 16 years of age. Haley’s loss has left her family, friends, and community heartbroken.

She was the cherished daughter of Stacy Keffer and Sarah Hubley of Elmwood, and the beloved little sister of Josh Arthur of Nova Scotia. Her faithful dog, Bella, whom she adored deeply, will miss her constant love and companionship. Haley was the treasured granddaughter of Terry Lawson of Walkerton, David Hubley (Cheryl Pietz) of Chatsworth, and “Papa” Paul Keffer of Elmwood.
She will be dearly missed by her uncle Kevin (Allanna) Hubley of Wiarton and their daughters, Olivia and Penelope, as well as her uncle Steve (Lorna) Keffer of Barrie and their children, Jonathan and Mallorie. Haley was surrounded by many close friends who cared for her deeply, and her absence will be felt by all who knew her. She is predeceased by her grandmother, Nona-Lynn Keffer, with whom she now rests in peace.
A time of remembrance to honour Haley’s life will be held at the Elmwood Community Centre (38 Concession Rd 10) on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at 1 p.m. A casual celebration will continue until 5 p.m. In recognition of Haley’s fun and unique personality—especially her love of wearing mismatched socks—attendees are encouraged to dress casually and “mix it up” in her memory.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for support during this unimaginable time. A GoFundMe has been created to help them navigate this difficult loss.
