In Loving Memory: Kenton L. Farwell, 17, of Sabetha, Dies in Tragic Crash

NEMAHA COUNTY, KS – The Sabetha community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Kenton L. Farwell, 17, who tragically died in a single-vehicle crash on 192nd Road in Nemaha County on Saturday, November 15, 2025.

According to the Nemaha County Sheriff’s Office, the call came in shortly after 7 a.m. regarding a vehicle that had left the roadway near the intersection with V Road. Kenton was driving a Chevrolet Silverado westbound when the vehicle left the road, struck a culvert, and overturned into a ditch. Emergency responders arriving at the scene found Kenton, the sole occupant, deceased. The exact circumstances leading up to the crash remain under investigation.

Kenton Farwell was remembered by friends and family as a vibrant, kind-hearted, and spirited young man. Those who knew him describe him as someone who brought joy to everyone around him and had a natural ability to make people smile.
